Colchester United will be looking to keep up their away winning form when they face Accrington Stanley on 28th October (KO 3pm).

The U's will be on the road again, having beaten Grimsby Town 3-2 at Blundell Park on Tuesday night.

Matty Etherington will be in-charge once again, having been named Interim Head Coach following Ben Garner's departure.

The Opposition

Accrington Stanley have made a very good start to the season and currently sit in sixth place in the Sky Bet League Two Table.

The 'Owd Reds have amassed twenty-six points from fifteen games, winning eight, drawing two and losing five.

They are also on an unbeaten run of six games, having not lost a match since 30th September.

Last time out in the league, the Lancashire-based team played out a 4-2 victory over Wimbledon in South London.

Speaking after the game, Accrington's manager, John Coleman, praised his team saying that they were "fantastic from start to finish".

He added: "I said to the lads at half time, I've been managing for twenty-seven years, I don't think I've ever seen a team start like that.

"Everything I wanted from them, they showed. Our character was tested to the hills and we've passed it with flying colours. That can only improve us."

With Accrington flying high in the table, Matty Etherington's men will have to look out for a few attacking threats.

One of them is Josh Andrews. The twenty-two-year-old forward has featured in every single game for Stanley this season, scoring six goals and assisting once. Andrews, however, hasn't scored in his last two matches, meaning that he'll be determined to get back on the scoresheet.

Another threat will be coming from the right-hand side of the pitch in form of Joe Pritchard. The twenty-seven-year-old midfielder has six goal contributions in eight league appearances this season. Last time out against Wimbledon he scored twice and assisted once.

The U's will also have to be aware of Tommy Leigh who will likely be positioned just behind Andrews, with Accrington's number eighteen having already made six goal contributions during this campaign. He scored four times and assisted twice.
