Sancho and Madueke start: Chelsea's new strong starting XI under Enzo Maresca ahead of Bournemouth
Source:Latest News

There is never a dull moment at Chelsea these days. Whether it's signing a future star, drawing a game they should be winning, or owners looking to buy out each other's shares, something is always happening.

But with the international break now over, Chelsea has the chance to write their own headlines, and a win would be the perfect answer to what has been a difficult week of off-the-field issues.

They've been fortunate with injuries, as almost all the players have returned unscathed, with Reece James making progress, though there is still some doubt about whether he will be fit enough to start at Vitality Stadium. Malo Gusto is also still struggling with a muscle injury, but if James is fully fit, there's no doubt the Englishman would get the nod.

There are still a few days of training before the team travels to Bournemouth for the fourth league game of the season, and there are a lot of new things to look forward to, including the debut of Jadon Sancho, who was introduced to the Stamford Bridge crowd before the disappointing draw against Crystal Palace the other day.

In midfield, the usual suspects would feature: Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo at the base, with the effective Cole Palmer playing in the number 10 role. Nicolas Jackson continues to impress and would lead the attack, with Noni Madueke on the right side and new signing Jadon Sancho starting on the left ahead of Neto.

Chelsea's strongest starting XI: Sanchez, James, Cucurella, Fofana, Colwill, Fernandez, Caicedo, Palmer, Sancho, Madueke, Jackson
