Chelsea will return to action on Saturday night following the conclusion of the international break. Enzo Maresca's men have picked up four points from their first three games, and they will be expecting to add another three points to that total on the South Coast this weekend.
The Blues have looked dangerous in attack but they certainly have some defensive issues to iron out, conceding five goals in three games so far. Here we round up the latest injury news surrounding Chelsea and the Cherries ahead of Saturday night's Premier League clash at the Vitality Stadium.
Enes Unal - OutUnal has an ankle injury that will likely keep him out until at least the end of the month. Iraola said last month: "He had surgery and they put something in the toe and he couldn't do almost anything until now. Now everything is clear, everything goes in a good way and he started running (on Friday). But one thing is to start running and the other thing is to be available to be with the team. I think he is going to be out for some weeks. We cannot count on him for the first games of the season."
Tyler Adams - Out Adams will be out until around mid-October with a lower back injury. Iraola said in the summer: "He finished the season with an injury in his back. He wanted to play Copa America because it was very important for him, but he had restrictions and was still in pain, so two days after they were knocked out, he had surgery."
Philip Billing - Doubt Billing has also been struggling with a back injury but he is expected to return here.
Reece James - OutJames continues to struggle with injury issues. He is currently out with a thigh injury and is not set to return until at least the end of the month.
Romeo Lavia - DoubtLavia could be in contention to return from his thigh injury, with the international break likely providing the time he needed to get back to full fitness. Maresca said the issue was "not a huge concern."
Cole Palmer - DoubtA groin injury cost Palmer an international link-up with England but he may well be set to return in time to feature here.
Malo Gusto - OutGusto picked up a thigh injury against Crystal Palace and is set for a spell on the sidelines, starting here. Maresca said after the Palace game: "We will see what happens. It looks like a muscle problem and we are going to see."
Kellyman is currently struggling with a thigh injury that will keep him out for now.
