Daniel Farke must return in January for Bournemouth right-back Max Aarons as he is yet to play a single minute in the Premier League this season.

The German is reportedly eager for a reunion with Aarons at Elland Road but a move this summer failed to materialise despite Bournemouth being open to the sale [TEAMtalk].

Leeds moved to sign Jayden Bogle and Isaac Schmidt to meet the needs at full-back, but if Aarons' situation continues into the New Year, Farke must do everything to bring the former Norwich City man to West Yorkshire.

Max Aarons would be a massive addition for Leeds United The 24-year-old will regret his decision not to push for a move to Leeds this summer as not only has he failed to make an appearance this season, but he was absent from the matchday squad entirely in Bournemouth's 1-0 loss to Chelsea on the weekend.

With a wealth of Championship experience and 90 Premier League appearances under his belt, a temporary return to the second tier with a view of an immediate return to the top flight could be exactly what Aarons needs to revitalise his career.

He was an integral cog of Farke's title-winning Norwich side and knows first-hand how impactful he can be to the Whites' Premier League aspirations this season.

Bogle has failed to catch the eye with his early season performances since his move from Sheffield United and, while the jury is still out, it makes sense for Leeds to cover all bases should Bogle continue to underperform as they attempt to provide quality competition at right-back.

Leeds United Max Aarons is an England age-grade international With Bournemouth open to a sale in the summer, Leeds can capitalise on their eagerness and Aarons' lack of minutes to strike a bargain for his signature and significantly boost their automatic promotion aspirations.

Farke has endured a rough start to the 2024/25 campaign and will surely have his eye already on the January transfer window should his side continue their underwhelming form.
