Leeds United to make modest profit on 2024 loan-to-buy if PL club are able to complete signing – YEP

Leeds United winger Luis Sinisterra is starting to show signs of class in a Bournemouth shirt after a slow start, getting his first goal of the season earlier this month, before shining off the bench against Newcastle United.

Daniel Farke will not care one bit what his loaned out players are up to right now, with all of his focus going into getting the Whites back into the Premier League for 23/24.

Luis Sinisterra was the last of the squad to force his way back to the top flight as he moved to Bournemouth on a season-long loan, joining Tyler Adams at Andoni Iraola's Cherries.

However, the Cherries have picked up two wins in the last three against Burnley and Newcastle United, either side of a mauling at Manchester City - where Sinisterra netted his first goal in Bournemouth colours.

Do Bournemouth have an option to buy? The Yorkshire Evening Post's Graham Smyth has shared the latest on Bournemouth's prospects of keeping the Colombia international beyond the summer of 2024.

He reveals that there is an option-to-buy clause in his contract, but it only becomes active if Leeds are not promoted this season under Farke:

"The Cherries do have an option to buy the attacker, but it will only become active if Leeds fail to get promoted. In that scenario the Whites would recover a fee in excess of the PS20m they paid for him when he arrived from Feyenoord in 2022."

Would you welcome any of the loan players back?

To break even on Sinisterra would be a boost for us, on the chance that we aren't promoted to the Premier League this season.

At the moment, we should be confident that we can bridge the gap to the top two and establish ourselves as the team to beat, but we're well covered on Sinisterra anyway.

If we are promoted this season, there is a major decision to be made with Sinisterra on whether we keep him or cash in.

Should he fire Bournemouth up the table, we have a hugely valuable asset on our hands, as dislikable as he is right now.
