Arsenal have watched Red Bull Salzburg midfield sensation Oscar Gloukh in action and are keeping tabs on his situation, sources have told Football Insider.

Football Insider revealed on Monday (19 February) that Aston Villa also have a "concrete" interest in landing the 19-year-old.

It is believed Arsenal and Villa are two of the leading candidates for Gloukh's signature - but other Premier League sides are in the background.

The Gunners have regularly scouted the teenager, with a well-placed source telling Football Insider they have compiled a "huge" dossier on his talents.

Gloukh is under contract in Austria until June 2027.
