Report: Borussia Dortmund now looking to sign Arsenal player who's been compared to Paul Pogba
Source:Football News,

Arsenal are facing a fight to keep another one of their top young players after Amario Cozier-Duberry joined Brighton this weekend.

Cozier-Duberry opted not to stay on with the Gunners despite being in and around the first-team last season and instead has gone to Brighton in the hope of playing more.

Gunners manager Mikel Arteta is open to allowing players leave if they feel it is best for their development but he won't want to lose many more.

Unfortunately though, it looks like the Gunners boss has another situation unfolding when it comes to another one of his top youngsters.

This time, it's Borussia Dortmund who are looking to snap up teenage defender, Ayden Heaven.

Dortmund looking at signing Arsenal's Ayden Heaven According to a report from The Evening Standard, German outfit Dortmund are keen on signing Heaven as they look to raid the English market once again.

As we know, it was Dortmund who landed Jude Bellingham from Birmingham, while they also had huge success in taking Jadon Sancho and selling him on.

Heaven is still just a teenager and hasn't yet signed professional terms with the Gunners.

Arsenal are believed to want to keep the youngster around but Dortmund's interest could well cause a problem for Edu and co.

Heaven, who can play in defence and in midfield if needed, has caught the eye at London Colney and has been involved in first-team training.

He's also drawn comparisons to a certain Paul Pogba from Arsenal youth expert, Jorge Bird.

With so much talent at Arsenal, young players could well be seeing it as too hard to break in right now.

Indeed, despite doing just that, the likes of Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson have slipped away in recent years as well.

Heaven, then, could well see a move to Dortmund as the ideal step in his career.
