Arsenal land £68m transfer windfall with Isak set for move as AI predicts window
Source:Football.London -

Arsenal's summer transfer window has not kicked into life as of yet but their first signing appears to be just around the corner.

Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori has been heavily linked with a switch to the Emirates Stadium and reports over the weekend suggested the Gunners are hopeful of completing a deal before the end of the week. With the talented Italian centre-back through the door, all eyes will turn to who comes in next.

Mikel Arteta clearly has a centre-forward near the top of his wishlist having found that position difficult to fill last season despite Kai Havertz's good form. FairBettingSites have used Artificial Intelligence (AI) to predict how the summer window will transpire between now and September and it does not look good for Arsenal's prospects of signing one striker.

Newcastle United's Alexander Isak was identified as the perfect profile for the North London club at the beginning of the window. However, the price tag which the Magpies are asking for appears to have dampened Arsenal's optimism in recent weeks.

According to AI, Isak will be on the move this summer but not to the Emirates Stadium. It is claimed that PSG will be the ones to snap him up for the conservative fee of PS85m.

It is expected the North East club would prefer a figure higher than PS100m but perhaps a bigger wage in the French capital could turn the Swede's head and force Newcastle into a sale. According to the technology, Arsenal are not anticipated to be quiet in the window but the biggest deals are expected to be outgoings.

Emile Smith Rowe's time at Arsenal is anticipated to end with Borussia Dortmund splashing a respectable PS42.5m for the midfielder. Meanwhile, full-back Kieran Tierney is also predicted to leave the Gunners with Real Sociedad set to make his loan deal permanent for PS25.5m.

At this stage, it looks unlikely the Scotland international would rejoin the La Liga club permanently. But who are we to question artificial intelligence?
