“Keen on the signing” | ExWHUEmployee | Hammers set to move for Arsenal winger
Source:The West

West Ham are set to push for the signing of Reiss Nelson of Arsenal, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

It was disclosed earlier by our club insider exclusively that talks are progressing with Jhon Duran of Aston Villa, with hope that a deal is close to being struck with the midlands club.

It's understood personal terms will not be an issue once an agreement is in place, however Ex will be keeping fans posted as talks progress.

Following the news of Duran, the Podcast co-host has now further advised that West Ham are now set to target Nelson of the Gunners, with again confidence that a deal could well be reached.

"We are becoming more keen on the signing of Reiss Nelson of Arsenal," stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon. "Reiss is also home grown, with more Premier League experience and also another player from a rival.

"He is only 24 so again has a lot of potential to develop too. We had made moves for the players before and he wasn't as keen at the time but now it is thought he is more open to the move.

"Arsenal are also said to be happy to cash in so there may be some progress in this deal this week. Nelson can play on either wing but has spent a lot of his career at Arsenal on the left. So this appeals to us. His wages are said to be within our budget too."

There are others targets the club are considering for a new winger, but at this stage it's hoped a deal can materialise for Nelson.
