Exclusive: 'Unbelievable' speedster wanted by Arsenal has now agreed to join Real Madrid
Source:Football News,

Arsenal are likely to be busy on the transfer front in the coming weeks as Edu and Mikel Arteta look to fine-tune their squad.

The Gunners took the Premier League title battle to the final day of the 2023/24 season, showing how far they've come in the past few years.

This summer, Arsenal's job will be to strengthen their ranks so they can get their hands on a trophy that has eluded them since 2004.

Plenty of top players have been linked with the Gunners in recent weeks, including an "unbelievable" full-back who's faster than the likes of Mykhaylo Mudryk.

However, the player in question has now decided that he'd like to join one of Arsenal's Champions League rivals instead.

Davies and Lille defender Leny Yoro have both agreed to join Real Madrid, sources have confirmed to TBR Football.

Manchester United have had a bid accepted for Yoro, whilst Liverpool and PSG are prepared to mount similar bids if they see a chance of landing the teenager.

But sources have confirmed to TBR that Yoro's stance is unmoved by United's bid - he is committed to joining Real Madrid.

And if Lille don't accept Real's offer for him - which is around half the EUR50million on offer from United - he has told the French club he will wait 12-months and join them in the summer of 2025 for nothing.

The same decision is also emerging from Munich where Alphonso Davies has told Bayern he will not sign a new deal as he also sees his future in the Spanish capital.

Again Real are short of Bayern's asking price, but they won't over pay for a player out-of-contract in less than 12-months and that is the situation Davies is in.

Real have long identified Davies as the man they want to be their long-term answer at left-back, and like with Yoro they believe the Canadian will wait for them - if they don't have a bid accepted - and join them for nothing next summer.

Again like Yoro, Davies has extensive interest in England with Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea being long-term admirers of the 23-year-old.

However, they have known for more than 18 months that Real were in pole position to sign him.

Davies only just getting started Davies is an "unbelievable" talent - as Joshua Kimmich previously told the Bundesliga website - who has already achieved so much in the game at just 23 years of age.

He has a Champions League, five Bundesliga titles, a FIFA Club World Cup, 195 appearances for Bayern and 51 Canada caps to his name, and he's still only just getting started.

Davies would be an outstanding acquisition for Arsenal, but sadly it looks as though they're set to miss out to the 15-time Champions League winners.
