Sheth adds that Smith Rowe wants to assess all his options this summer, prioritising regular football.

Nixon has suggested that the primary issue is convincing Smith Rowe himself, with the player still keen to make it at Arsenal. Fulham will try to offer more money and change his mind, but it's not clear whether that will work.

According to his previous reports, Arsenal want at least PS25m for the signing, and Crystal Palace are also in the mix.

The 23-year-old reportedly arrived early for the mini training camp, clearly keen to be prepared for the new campaign. Smith Rowe made 19 appearances for Arsenal in 2023/24.

Pre-season will formally get underway at the start of next week, before the trip to the United States on July 21st.
