Report: Agent now looking for Premier League buyer for 'world-class' Arsenal and Spurs attacking target
Source:Football News,

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are likely to be busy on the transfer front in the coming weeks as they look to strengthen their respective squads.

The Gunners came close to winning the Premier League title last season and will be eager to bolster their ranks so they can go all the way in 2025.

Meanwhile, Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou enjoyed a solid maiden season in charge of the Lilywhites, but they'll want to ensure they can seal a top-four spot next year.

Arsenal and Tottenham have both been linked with many top players in recent weeks, including a forward once tipped to potentially become "the best player in Europe".

Now, Rudy Galetti has provided an update on the player in question to TEAMtalk, and it bodes well for the likes of the Gunners and the Lilywhites.

Now, according to TEAMtalk, the player's agent is set to offer him to Premier League clubs after being tasked with maximising the salary of his next contract.

Chiesa is reportedly looking to earn around PS130,000-a-week, and Fali Ramadani will look to the English top flight in order to help his client find a club that can meet his expectations.

As things stand, just Roma and Napoli have come up with concrete offers for Chiesa, and neither of them come close to the player's salary expectations, added the report.

Saudi Arabian clubs are said to have contacted Chiesa's camp, but the PS25million-rated player's preference is to join a club that can offer Champions League football.

Juventus' contract offer remains the best on the table on things stand but that could change if clubs from the Premier League come forward, added the report.

Who is Arsenal and Tottenham target Federico Chiesa? Federico Chiesa is a 26-year-old attacker who plays his club football for Juventus and represents Italy internationally.

He came through the ranks at Fiorentina before joining Juve in 2020 on an initial loan deal and signing permanently in 2022.

Chiesa has made 131 appearances for the Turin-based outfit, grabbing 34 goals and 25 assists, and has also won 51 caps for Italy, scoring seven times.

Former Italy boss Cesare Prandelli told La Nazione in 2020, via Goal.com: "Chiesa must specialise in what he feels is his natural tactical position.

"If he does this, he will become the best player in Europe."

Meanwhile, former Italy defender Alessandro Pierini described Chiesa to Tuttomercatoweb - via Forza Italian Football - as "world-class" back in 2021.

Admittedly, Chiesa doesn't have the best injury record, so it remains to be seen whether the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham would be willing to give PS130,000-a-week to such a player.
