Spanish attacking midfielder Dani Olmo has emerged as one of the most wanted men in Europe after his performances in the Euros.

Olmo has managed to take his club form to the international stage and has become a key player for Spain as they prepare to take on England tonight.

Of course, English interest in Olmo is there and it's no secret that a number of teams like him.

Tottenham have been linked with Olmo for some time while a more recent report this weekend has suggested that Manchester City would like him as well.

Arsenal, too, are known admirers of Olmo as they continue to assess their options for the summer.

And taking to X this afternoon, Fabrizio Romano has now provided an update on where things are with the Spaniard.

And according to Romano, the race remains very much open.

The release clause for Dani Olmo is valid until July 20 after reaching Euros final.

No talks with Man City so far as mentioned weeks ago, race remains open with several clubs interested.

It is very telling that a club like Man City are now looking at him as well.

Put simply, that shows the level Olmo is operating at for Spain.

The Euros has been the making of a number of players and Dani Olmo is among those.

For English clubs, he ticks so many boxes and would slot in nicely to most sides in the league.

The likes of Arsenal are looking for another attacking midfielder to help unlock doors in the final third, while Man City have never really replaced David Silva, albeit they do have Phil Foden.

Tottenham would be the biggest winners when it comes to landing Olmo.

Given the quality he's shown, he'd elevate Spurs to another level.

The next week, then, could prove pivotal for the Spaniard and those interested club.
