Arsenal have been fairly quiet in the transfer market this summer, though it looks like they may soon have their first signing on board.

The Gunners are reportedly closing in on a move for Bologna's Riccardo Calafiori, and it may be done and dusted by the weekend.

Calafiori is not the only player who has been linked with a move to Arsenal this summer. Plenty of players across different on-pitch positions are said to be on their radar.

For instance, the Gunners are said to be looking at reinforcements in attack to boost the team's firepower.

Now, according to CaughtOffside, a player Arsenal have been scouting could be available for a modest price tag of EUR25-30million (PS21-25million).

Just under a month ago, Aksam reported that Arsenal were leading the charge for Kilicsoy in terms of Premier League suitors.

Although other English teams have since made offers for the 18-year-old, they haven't been successful.

CaughtOffside sources say they've been told Besiktas want EUR25-30million for Kilicsoy, who can leave the club for the right price this summer.

Fulham made an opening bid of EUR15million, while Aston Villa made a verbal offer worth EUR16million, but both were rejected, added the report.

The report also reiterated that Arsenal are interested in Kilicsoy and scouted him at this summer's Euro 2024 tournament.

Who is Arsenal target Semih Kilicsoy? Kilicsoy has come through the ranks at Besiktas and has quickly made a name for himself after becoming a first-team regular last year.

The 18-year-old registered 12 goals and three assists from 35 club outings in all competitions last term.

Kilicsoy also has three Turkiye caps to his name and was in the squad that reached the Euro 2024 quarter-finals, coming on against the Netherlands.

In January, Besiktas academy director Mehmet Eksi told Hurriyet: "As infrastructure teachers, we compare Semih to [Germany legend] Gerd Muller.

"Some compared him to [Sergio] Aguero. He also sees Aguero as his idol."

Eksi also said Kilicsoy controls the ball "very well, and uses his body very well by getting between the ball and the opponent. Very fast over short distances.

"He plays in three areas - right winger, left winger and centre-forward. He also plays behind the striker very well."
