The Gunners, along with fellow London clubs Chelsea and Tottenham, have reportedly inquired about the 19-year-old Danish international's availability and potential transfer fee.

While Napoli has shown interest, their offers have fallen short of Lecce's valuation. Chelsea, under the management of Enzo Maresca, is also reportedly keen on Dorgu and is expected to make a formal offer soon.

Dorgu was born in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2004 and began his career playing for Husum Boldklub before joining Nordsjaelland's youth academy.

In July 2022, he signed with Lecce at under-19 level, costing the Italians EUR200k.

Dorgu made his Serie A debut in August 2023.

He has also played for Denmark at the U18, U19, U20, and U21 levels.
