Arsenal continued their impressive start to the Premier League season with a 3-1 win over Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
The visitors took a shock lead at The Emirates through Cameron Archer early in the second half, before goals from Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka earned Mikel Arteta's side an important victory.
The win means Arsenal sit third in the top flight table, just a single point behind leaders Liverpool.
In the wake of the game, though, it has emerged that a Brazilian side have made an offer to sign one of Arsenal's attackers.
As per Brazilian outlet Globo via GiveMeSport, Palmeiras have made an offer to sign Gunners striker Gabriel Jesus.
The report claims that the approach will be rejected as the Premier League side are not entertaining the idea of selling Jesus, despite his recent drop in playing time.
Jesus, 27, signed for Arsenal in 2022 from Premier League rivals Manchester City, where he had won four top flight titles.
Jesus has been the subject of interest from Brazilian side Palmeiras
Since his move to the capital the Brazil international has netted 19 times in 77 games for the club across all competitions, as well as providing 15 assists.
Previously, he had netted 29 times for Palmeiras before moving to England to join City back in 2017.
Having initially been a regular starter for Arteta's side, the Brazilian forward has since fallen slightly down the pecking order.
He has started just one Premier League game so far this term and he is yet to find the back of the net in any of his eight appearances across all competitions.
Jesus is contracted to the North London side until the summer of 2027 and the report suggests that Arsenal intend on keeping hold of the player beyond the January transfer window.
