Arsenal's EFL Cup Fourth Round opponents, Preston, have their woes compounded with the updated reports that striker, Will Keane, will be out for up to eight weeks.
This reports arrive not long after Preston is set to lose the services of another key forward, Milutin Osmajic, that has been banned for eight games, after biting Blackburn Rovers' Oliver Beck in their 0-0 draw last month. Osmajic scored a brace for Preston in their 3-0 win over Watford last week Wednesday but the ban took effect from last weekend, and Preston were toothless in their clash with Burnley, drawing 0-0.
Former Arsenal striker to lead the line against Arsenal? Ex-Arsenal academy graduate, Sam Greenwood, could be in line to spearhead the attack for Preston when Arsenal visit Deepdale Stadium in a couple of weeks. Greenwood left Arsenal to Leeds United four years ago, and made a handful of appearances for the Lilywhites, but he has spent the last two seasons on loan.
After a spell with Middlesbrough that saw him score five goals in 34 games for Boro, Greenwood moved to Preston this season on loan, and hasn't opened his goalscoring account yet. I'm sure fate would line him up to probably get a goal against Arsenal, as such things are usually written in the stars.
