Jurrien Timber sends clear message amid Arsenal injury doubts for Bournemouth clash
Source:Football.London -

Jurrien Timber has posted a clear message on social media amid significant doubt surrounding his availability to feature for Arsenal against Bournemouth. The Netherlands international missed the Gunners' last Premier League clash against Southampton after picking up an injury against Paris Saint-Germain.

Following his latest issue, Timber remained at London Colney with the aim of recovering in time to return this evening on the south coast. In the lead up to the clash, he was not spotted in any training photos with Oleksandr Zinchenko and Ben White also among those missing.

However, in his Friday press conference, Arteta offered a positive update on the trio. "They are quite close the three of them [White, Timber and Zinchenko]," he admitted. "Today [Friday] we'll have to push. We are struggling a bit with the numbers, especially in our right side."

Following that, a video began circulating online which shows the Arsenal squad arriving at their hotel in Bournemouth. Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli and White, who have all been dealing with issues, were spotted but Timber was seemingly nowhere to be seen.

Towards the end of the video, a player emerged with his hood up and while it looked to be Saka initially, there is some suggestion it may be Timber. There is no obvious feature that confirms the unknown player being either Saka or Timber, but the latter has now sent a message ahead of Bournemouth which could suggest it is him.

On X, Timber wrote another bible verse Romans 8:28 which reads "and we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." Before games for Arsenal he often does this, but it may actually not be worth reading into it too much.

His last post came on Saturday, October 5 which was just an hour before the clash against Southampton which he missed through injury. If the 23-year-old is unable to feature, White could be handed an immediate starting XI spot despite having missed the last three weeks with a groin injury.
