Source:Liverpool.com -

Liverpool has moved back to the top of the Premier League table with a massive win over Chelsea at Anfield. Mohamed Salah and Curtis Jones the goals in a 2-1 win that could be massive for Arne Slot.

After 10-man Arsenal lost against Bournemouth on Saturday, Manchester City then looked set to drop points away at Wolves. Gary O'Neil's struggling side held Pep Guardiola's men to a 1-1 draw until the fifth minute of added time when John Stones headed home from a set-piece. It was the correct call not to call Bernardo Silva offside.

So how does that leave things in the Premier League with all three title contenders having played eight matches? The run of matches doesn't get much easier for the Reds, but they are a point clear at the top.

Liverpool is about to bust Premier League myth as Arne Slot faces 7-game reckoning My favorite player will soon make $100m switch and Liverpool should beat Man City to ultimate move Up next for Liverpool in the Premier League is a trip to Arsenal's Emirates Stadium. That comes next weekend, after the midweek trip to Germany to play RB Leipzig in the Champions League.

After a trip to Brighton in the Carabao Cup, the Reds will host Fabian Hurzeler's Seagulls at Anfield. Then comes Bayer Leverkusen and a visit of Aston Villa before the next international break.

That is only three more league matches before the November internationals. Following that, there is a double-header at home to Southampton and then Manchester City.

Arsenal has Liverpool next, of course, and then has Newcastle United (away) and Chelsea (home). The suspended William Saliba will be back for the Chelsea match as he will also miss a game with Preston North End in the Carabao Cup. The Gunners have Nottingham Forest at home after the international break before finishing November away at West Ham United.
