Former Chelsea captain John Terry has sent another message to Tottenham Hotspur and James Maddison following the Blues' 4-4 Premier League draw with Manchester City on Sunday.

Last week, Terry was in great spirits after Mauricio Pochettino's men earned bragging rights against Tottenham. Nicolas Jackson's hat-trick helped the West Londoners win 4-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, ending Spurs' unbeaten start to the season.

The ex-defender took to Instagram to mock Tottenham, posting a video of him celebrating with his wife. He wrote: "When @chelseafc beat Spurs 4-1 on a school night and the tequila comes out, and you end up dancing and singing on the bar."

Maddison, who was forced off in the first-half due to injury against Chelsea, hit back at Terry, writing: "Jesus, you have your eyes when it was 11 v 11 first 15 JT?" Terry responded with another amusing dig, saying: "*laughing emoji* Don't worry mate you will get used to it *blue heart emoji*."

Terry hasn't stopped with his digs at Tottenham. After Ange Postecoglou's men threw away a lead at Wolves with two injury-time goals to lose 2-1, the 42-year-old posted another message following Chelsea's thriller with Man City.

Standing alongside his wife, Toni, inside Stamford Bridge, Terry wrote: "What a game and what a performance that was! @chelseafc *blue heart emoji*. Stamford Bridge was absolutely rocking, the atmosphere was excellent. Get the Tequila out... *blue heart emoji* *football emoji* *laughing face emoji* *drink emoji*."

Current Chelsea captain Reece James was clearly a fan of Terry's post, commenting with a laughing face and two clapping hands emoji. The right-back continued his fine return to Pochettino's side with an impressive display against the Premier League champions.
