Prince William and Prince George were spotted spending some father-son time Thursday at the Aston Villa soccer match.

TNT Sports' coverage of the match showed the royal duo cheering on the team as they scored their opening goal against Lille at Villa Park in Birmingham.

George, 10, sported a scarf in support of his father's favorite team as the pair smiled, clapped and appeared in conversation with each other during the youngster's Easter break from school.

William, 41, has been a longtime supporter of Aston Villa, telling the Sun in December, "A long time ago at school, I got into football big time. All my friends were Chelsea or Manchester United fans, and I didn't really want to follow the run-of-the-mill team."

"Charlotte wanted me to tell you that she is really good at goal," William told the professionals at the time. "She said, 'Please tell them that.'"

Meanwhile, Middleton, 42, revealed to People in January 2022 that their son Louis, 5, is "mad" about rugby.

William and George's most recent outing comes as Middleton continues to avoid the public eye as she battles cancer.

Nevertheless, a new poll revealed that the ailing princess has surpassed William as the UK's most popular royal.
