Stan Collymore has backed Aston Villa to beat West Ham United in the Premier League at Villa Park on Sunday 22 October.

He added: "Villa 2 West Ham 1.

"Everything on paper has this down as one of the hardest away trips of the season.

Unai Emery has his Aston Villa side playing some sensational football, especially at home, with Brighton already finding that out the hard way with a humiliating loss.

Having said that, Moyes and West Ham thrive on that, just look at the defeat they also handed out to the Seagulls earlier in the season but at the AMEX Stadium.

Three points would take the Hammers back into those European spots after a thrilling Saturday of football, but it would also take them away from a direct rival for those places.

A big dilemma facing Moyes in his selection is the long travel of both Mohammed Kudus and Edson Alvarez in the international break, meaning there may be some changes.

All eyes will be on Villa Park tomorrow given it is the only live game for a change, and hopefully, the Irons can put on a show and walk away with all three points.

In other West Ham news, David Moyes has shared a new contract update.
