Champions League giants Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly joined Aston Villa and a host of Premier League clubs in the race to sign Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville.

The Dutchman registered an impressive 19 goals and nine assists in 43 Championship matches for Leeds last term. The season before that - in the Premier League - was less successful as he scored just four times in 24 matches - but Summerville had a year less experience at that stage.

Dutch outlet De Telegraaf reports PSG have already contacted Leeds' club management and the attacker's representatives to initiate discussions over a potential transfer. It's also stated that Liverpool and Chelsea, both holding an interest, have made enquiries to Leeds.

Brighton & Hove Albion were in advanced talks but were unwilling to offer the signing on fee Summerville requested. Villa, meanwhile, haven't been spoken about in several weeks but were linked heavily toward the end of last season and could still make an approach.

It's been described by Fabrizio Romano as a complex situation as many other clubs are in the picture, eager to unlock Summerville's vast potential. Able to play on either wing, the forward would provide useful versatility for any potential suitor.
