Ian Darke says Aston Villa are dealing with "just about everything" that comes their way, with confidence they can navigate a run of three away games in six days.
Unai Emery's side face Tottenham Hotspur in North London on Sunday [3 November], followed by a trip to Belgium to take on Club Brugge in the Champions League [6 November].
Just three days later, the Villans visit Anfield to meet Premier League leaders Liverpool before the international break.
"Three away games in a row is difficult isn't it, so I'd say it's their biggest test so far this season. But Unai Emery is doing such a good job that he seems to have them coping with just about everything," TNT Sports' Darke exclusively told Villa News.
"There's a lot of talk about whether Villa are quite the same in the league after a European trip. They had that pretty dull and tame 0-0 draw with Manchester United, and then the 1-1 with Bournemouth.
"The plate spinning was always going to be an issue this season but they've still lost just one out of their 13 matches, and that was to Arsenal. Liverpool away comes after a Champions League game in Brugge, but Liverpool themselves will have played in Europe as well."
