There were stunning scenes in the Villa Park stands as Aston Villa beat Fulham 3-1 in the Premier League.

Ollie Watkins and John McGinn were on the scoresheet for Unai Emery's side and they were also gifted a goal from Antonee Robinson. Villa continued their stellar form, claiming a 13th straight home win.

Boss Emery said post-match: "It's special for everyone. We connected very well with our supporters. We had control of the game in the first half. It was important for us to get the first goal [in the second half] but when they scored we needed to try to control the game and be consistent in our game plan and we were.

"We are the best scoring team in the league. It's important because we're showing our potential but we have to be stronger defensively."
