Aston Villa's next six Premier League fixtures compared to Tottenham, Man United and Liverpool

Aston Villa continue to impress in the Premier League as they look to break into the top four and qualify for the Champions League for the first time since 1982.

Unai Emery will have one eye on adding to Villa's trophy cabinet as his side look to progress into the Europa Conference League knockout stages. He has already won the Europa League four times during his time with Sevilla and Villarreal.

A 3-1 win over Fulham was their sixth straight home win, taking their tally to 23 goals in that time. The victory saw them go one point behind Tottenham and four clear of the chasing pack.

BirminghamLive takes a look at the next six Villa fixtures in the top flight, as well as those of rivals Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Newcastle.

Tottenham Hotspur (A) - Sunday, 26th November

Following the international break, Emery will be hoping his side will come back fit and injury-free for a tough away fixture against a side with injury concerns of their own. Both James Maddison and Micky van de Ven are set to be out until the new year which is a huge blow for Ange Postecoglou.

As seen in their defeat to Wolves at the weekend, Villa will sense there is a huge opportunity to overtake the side immediately above them. The fixture has all the makings of an excellent battle between two of this seasons most exciting teams.

Bournemouth (H) - Sunday, 3rd December

The first of three consecutive home games in the space of six days. Bournemouth will be buoyed from their win over Newcastle, but face a relegation six-pointer against Sheffield United on their return from the international break.

The result of that encounter may hold huge significance when they travel to Villa Park, but they will be hopeful of maintaining their impressive home form. Emery will know the Cherries carry a threat away from the Vitality Stadium having played well against Liverpool and Chelsea away.

Manchester City (H) - Wednesday, 6th December

This is where the winning run at Villa Park could really be put to the test. Pep Guardiola's side may not be at their brilliant best, but still sit top of the Premier League - and they normally start to kick into gear following the final international break of the calendar year.

City will be travelling to the West Midlands knowing of Emery's record at Villa Park, wanting to come in and conquer the fortress he has created. It should be a fascinating tie against two top teams.

Arsenal (H) - Saturday, 9th December

Back-to-back games against two of the Premier League's top teams will be a true test of Villa's top four credentials. Arsenal, alongside Liverpool, look best placed to challenge City for the Premier League crown.

However, the Spaniard used to manage the Gunners and will be hoping to get one over his former side. Emery did a relatively decent job at the Emirates but was axed for Mikel Arteta when results started to waver.

Brentford (A) - Sunday, 17th December

A side that Villa seem to struggle against away from home is Brentford - they have not won in West London since 1953 in an FA Cup victory. Emery will be hoping to change that having taken a point at the Brentford Community Stadium last season.

Thomas Frank's side have a favourable run of games up until their clash with the Villains. Fixtures against Luton, Brighton and Sheffield United could have the Bees brimming with confidence by the time Villa come to town.

Sheffield United (H) - Friday, 22nd December

One of only two sides in the Premier League yet to win away from home this season, Emery's side will be confident of continuing their impressive home record. Paul Heckingbottom's side have managed just four goals on their travels - two less than Villa's away record this season.

Villa don't have the best record against Sheffield United, and will want to improve that before the end of the year. They travel to Manchester United on Boxing Day before facing Burnley ahead of the Premier League's winter break.
