Neill Collins spoke to iFollow Barnsley after the Reds were defeated 3-0 at Pride Park.
We suffered our first defeat on the road this campaign after the Rams netted a first-half penalty converted by James Collins, before adding to their tally after the break through Craig Forsyth and Collins' second goal of the afternoon.
Our Head Coach gave his post-match reaction:
"It's very disappointing. To bring such a fantastic travelling support and to end the day so disappointingly, it's not what any of us planned. I honestly thought, the way the game was going, we were right in the game. I felt it was a really good game, but we just made it far too easy.
"We can't lose goals as easily as that at somewhere as tough as this. I felt we were three nothing down and we hadn't done an awful lot wrong. We got really punished. When you don't deal with basic things at a place like this, it's near impossible to win the game."
