Bolton Wanderers are yet to go back in with another bid for Hibs and Celtic target Luke McCowan, according to Sky Sports. Bolton Wanderers saw an offer rebuffed for the Scottish Premiership man earlier in this transfer window. They haven't made a second approach since then and appear to have moved on for the time being.

That means his current club risk losing him for free in June 2025 if they don't cash in on him now or in January, assuming he doesn't pen an extension anytime soon.
In this latest update regarding his situation by Sky Sports, Hibs have offered PS750,000 for his services, whilst Celtic continue to monitor developments. The Trotters' interest has cooled following the start of the new League One season under Ian Evatt.
Latest on Bolton Wanderers-linked man Dundee are facing a real battle to keep hold of McCowan between now and the end of the window. They are holding firm for the time being though as they wait for the right price.
It appears to be the case that he may well end up staying in Scotland with Bolton Wanderers yet to test their resolve again.

McCowan broke into the first-team and went on to score 19 goals in 78 games in all competitions, helping them gain promotion to the Scottish Championship in 2018.
His performances alerted the attention of Dundee and they swooped in for him in 2021. He has since become one of their most prized assets.
The Greenock-born man has fired 27 goals in 122 outings for the Dens Park outfit.
McCowan played an important role in their promotion to the Scottish Premiership under former Blackburn Rovers and Bradford City boss Gary Bowyer a couple of years ago.
His future at Dundee is up in the air now though and it remains to be seen what will happen with him.
Bolton Wanderers haven't gone back in for McCowan and their focus has switched back on League One.
They won 2-1 away at Leyton Orient on the opening day. They beat Mansfield Town on penalties in the Carabao Cup last time out and are back in league action this weekend at home to Wrexham.
