Phil Parkinson possesses multiple quality players in his Wrexham armoury, with one 'weapon' now deserving of a chance against Bolton Wanderers.
Wrexham are two matches into their 2024/25 campaign; Phil Parkinson's men secured a 3-2 victory over Wycombe Wanderers last weekend in League One before losing against Sheffield United 4-2 in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
Parkinson has been able to flex the whole depth of his squad on multiple occasions and there have been several stand-out players across both fixtures.
Jack Marriott stole the headlines for his sumptuous volley against the Chair Boys, whereas George Dobson impressed on his debut and is now tipped to become a 'fan favourite' at the Racecourse Ground.
There was one player in particular, though, who stood out like a sore thumb in the defeat to Sheffield United, with Parkinson now being urged to start him.
The 21-year-old flourished throughout pre-season, scoring in the win over Vancouver Whitecaps, while Parkinson praised Revan's 'great versatility' as he's capable of playing as a centre-back, right-back or left-back.

Revan was left out of the starting XI against Wycombe, with James McClean preferred instead however, he was selected on Tuesday night and constantly threatened the Blades backline from wing-back.
The youngster, who spent last season on loan at Rotherham, used his searing pace to get behind and when an opportunity opened up, he dispatched his chance coolly past Ivo Grbic.
Revan is now knocking on the door for a start against Bolton Wanderers on Sunday, with journalist Nathan Salt explaining why Parkinson's 'outstanding' talent deserves the nod at wing-back.
Speaking on the Rob Ryan Red podcast, Salt said: "I actually thought Seb Revan was a huge positive going forward; him and Barney [Ryan Barnett] can be such a weapon.
"His final ball, his finishing, he offers you so much in that role. I would beg to differ, I would start him at Bolton because I think it's totally different with Dobson in there, with Tom O'Connor, who has played left back at Gillingham.
"There's potentially more cover to overcompensate and we need to go into Bolton and not be in awe of them."
Seb Revan needs to start vs Bolton Wrexham have poached multiple youngsters from Premier League clubs this summer, including Arthur Okonkwo from Arsenal, Lewis Brunt from Leicester City and Revan from Villa.
The attacking left-back already looks the part and having impressed against Championship opponents, few could argue against him starting the trip to Bolton.
Although McClean is integral to Wrexham, either as a wing-back or central midfielder, Revan's searing pace down the left could hurt the Trotters in behind.
The hosts will also look to dominate possession, similar to what Sheffield United did, and that is where Revans pace comes in handy on the counter.
While it's ultimately a tough decision to make - dropping McClean or shifting him into the middle - it could pay dividends starting the Villa academy graduate, who can go from strength to strength with further game time.
