Both Lewis Dunk and Adam Lallana clearly paid attention to one damning stat from Brentford's draw with Manchester United.
Brighton played out a 0-0 stalemate with the Bees at the Gtech Community Stadium on Wednesday, with the visitors creating considerably more chances in a frustrating evening for Roberto De Zerbi's side.
Despite drawing 1-1 with the Bees in the end after some stoppage time dramatics, Erik ten Hag's side conceded an enormous 31 shots in the clash - the most of any Premier League side this season.
Now, Brighton's players have appeared to aim a rather thinly veiled dig at the Red Devils after taking the sting out of the Bees and only allowing them a handful of chances.
"I thought defensively, we were excellent," Dunk said after the match. "I think I don't really remember a shot on target that they had.
Meanwhile, ex-Liverpool star Lallana had also noted the stat from the Bees' previous game.
"We were disappointed with a point," he said, reflecting on the game.
"We saw how dominant Brentford were the other night with 30 shots on goal but we dominated this game, just lacked the killer instinct."
