Chelsea fans will be expecting to see the name Thomas Frank creep up in the coming weeks and months in the managerial hunt, following the surprise departure of Mauricio Pochettino. But they will also see him on television screens over the next month.

The Dane will be apart of BBC's coverage of the European Championships, which begin on Friday, June 14. England will be looking to end their wait for a major international trophy and avenge their final defeat to Italy at Wembley in 2021.

Germany plays host to the tournament as they look to win their fourth European crown and first since Euro '96. The Three Lions and beaten World Cup finalists France are among the favourites for the competition.

Hungary, Scotland and Switzerland are the three teams that complete Group A alongside hosts Germany. Reigning champions Italy have somewhat of a 'Group of Death' with Spain, Croatia and Albania are fighting to progress out of Group B.

Frank's Denmark are looking to avenge their Euro 2020 semi-final defeat to England after a controversial penalty was awarded as they face Gareth Southgate's second on matchday two. Frank will likely be a part of the coverage of Denmark to provide viewers with first-person knowledge of the squad.

He is joined by the likes of Alan Shearer, Frank Lampard, Cesc Fabregas, Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand who are some of the male contingent in the studio for the tournament. While the debate and search ravages on for a new manager at Stamford Bridge, Frank will undoubtedly be probed over his credentials to manage across West London or even elsewhere in the Premier League - following links with Liverpool and Manchester United.

Frank has already discussed the prospect of leaving Brentford, with some suggesting he has seemingly issued a 'come-and-get-me' plea. He told the Daily Mail. "If a big club one day comes to knock on my door, then I need to consider it.

"But it's not something I'm hunting. I could stay in Brentford for, well, forever is probably a crazily long time but I could stay here for a further sustained period." Whether he will swap the Bees for the Blues remains to be seen but bookmakers have him in the region of 10/1 to succeed Pochettino.
