Leeds United and Brighton and Hove Albion are interested in Motherwell prospect Dylan Wells, according to a report by the Daily Record. Leeds United have looked into the possibility of luring the teenager down the border to Yorkshire.

Wells, 18, is being tipped for a bright future in the game and is being linked with a move to England.

According to the Daily Record, the Whites and Brighton have eyed a potential swoop for him but for now the attacker is poised to pen a new deal with his current club.

Leeds United and Brighton eye youngster Leeds could see the forward as a potential long-term addition. The Championship promotion hopefuls are no strangers to adding youngsters to their ranks from other teams.

The Whites may have identified Wells as a potential attacking addition for their development squad with a view to breaking into their first-team down the line.

Latest Stories He has been on the books at Motherwell for his whole career to date and has risen up through the academy ranks of the Scottish outfit.

Wells can play on either flank and is a key player for the Wells' B team as they look to provide him with a pathway into their senior set-up in the near future.

Securing him to a new deal would be a great bit of business by Stuart Kettlewell's side because even if they were to lose him as soon as the next transfer window opens for example, they would get a fee for him as opposed to losing him for next to nothing.

Leeds will be keeping one eye on their summer recruitment but it is hard for them when they don't know what league they will be in.

Daniel Farke's men are battling it out for promotion to the Premier League and lost 2-1 away at Coventry City last time out. They are back in action this evening with a home clash against Sunderland.
