Leeds United star Crysencio Summerville has been linked to Liverpool

Liverpool have decided to no longer pursue the transfer of Leeds United ace Crysencio Summerville this season, according to Graeme Bailey.
The Reds had been linked with a move for the in-demand Dutch forward (Fabrizio Romano, 9 June), who was last season's Championship Player of the Year, with Brighton and Chelsea having also been reported with an interest.
However, Bailey says Liverpool are no longer in the running, while adding that Leeds are more likely to get around PS30million for Summerville rather than the PS40m some have suggested.
In quotes reported by Leeds United Live (22 June), he said: "I think Leeds will be getting closer to PS30m than PS40m, that's for sure. Leeds won't be getting PS40m at all for Summerville, I don't see that. Brighton are in for him, they lost Ansu Fati, that didn't work out and so we know they want a wide player.
"Where the other interest is coming from, Liverpool have ruled themselves out and are not in for him. Brighton firmly in pole position for him."

Losing a player of Summerville's importance would obviously not be ideal but it might just solve a few headaches.
