Sheffield Wednesday are looking to bring Ike Ugbo back to Hillsborough.
Danny Rohl has wasted no time ahead of the 2024/25 Championship season in getting men through the doors at Hillsborough.

The signings have by no means slowed down for Sheffield Wednesday, with James Beadle returning to the club from Brighton on loan, following a successful spell in-between the sticks in the second half of the 2023/24 Championship campaign.
Rohl has now set his sights on bringing Ike Ugbo back to Hillsborough, with the pendulum currently swinging in their favour to sign the forward.

The need for attacking depth at Sheffield Wednesday Ugbo proved in the last campaign that he is Championship quality and could make a significant impact for Sheffield Wednesday this season if they manage to sign the attacker.
Despite the signings of Kobacki and former Bournemouth striker Jamal Lowe, options are still fairly light up top for Rohl as things stand.
Young striker Bailey Cadamarteri shone at times last season, however the 19-year-old will most likely be utilised off the bench for Sheffield Wednesday, as they need a proven scorer up top.
The signing of Lowe was certainly a shrewd decision, alongside the news that Josh Windass has furthered his stay at Sheffield Wednesday, but the potential signing of Ugbo could bring out the very best in the two attackers as they all look to fight for their place in Rohl's starting lineup.
Sheffield Wednesday linked striker Charlie McNeill could also provide depth, however has too little EFL experience to make a likely impact in comparison to Ugbo.
The signing makes total sense in terms of adding depth, proven scoring ability and bringing in a player who has already thrived under Rohl, as many of the 2023/24 Sheffield Wednesday squad did.
