Newcastle United have been pictured back on the training ground this week ahead of the return to Premier League action against Brighton & Hove Albion.
After a two week international break, Newcastle will be back at St James' Park on Saturday to host Brighton (3pm kick-off). Head coach Eddie Howe will be hopeful of some injury boosts heading into the match with the likes of Callum Wilson and Alexander Isak close to returning from respective injuries.
International players such as Sandro Tonali, Bruno Guimaraes and Miguel Almiron were also missing but Nick Pope, Anthony Gordon and Tino Livramento were all back with the squad following England duty.
But there was a double injury boost with Martin Dubravka back on the grass following a knee injury picked up against AFC Wimbledon before the international break. There was also a welcome return for Lewis Miley, who has been out of action since June with a broken metatarsal.
The teenage midfielder was pictured back on the grass as he closes in on a return after seven months without a competitive match.
In the absence of Tonali and Guimaraes, Howe called up 18-year-old midfielder Anthony Munda to train with the first team in preparation for Brighton. Munda featured for Newcastle's first-team in pre-season and also scored in the Under-21s' 1-1 draw with Sunderland at Whitley Park back in August.
