Brighton vs Sheffield United confirmed team news as Blades make enforced change, key pair out
Source: Examinerlive

A rejuvenated Sheffield United team make the trip to Brighton this afternoon full of confidence following last week's last-gasp win over Wolves. The Blades arrive on the south coast looking to build on that 2-1 success and head into the third international break of the season with a positive result in the bag.

A point for the visitors will move them off the bottom ahead of Burnley, while three points will see them jump to 18th, just two points behind Bournemouth, who United face at Bramall Lane when play resumes in two weeks' time.

The hosts are in fine form and will provide another stern test of their Premier League credentials. Victory for Roberto De Zerbi's men will see them move into sixth spot, just a point behind fifth-placed Aston Villa. They are also entering the fixture off the back of an impressive win having put Ajax to the sword four days earlier in Europe.

Blades boss Paul Heckingbottom had been forced into one change from that win over Wolves with Rhian Brewster ruled out with a knee injury he suffered in the first half. James McAtee comes in from the start following his impressive second half display, while key pair Oliver McBurnie and Anel Ahmedhodzic are also not fit enough to return.

Here is how Sheffield United line up this afternoon.

Sheffield United starting XI: Foderingham; Bogle, Baldock, Trusty, Robinson, Thomas; Norwood, Souza, Hamer; McAtee, Archer.

Subs: Amissah, Lowe, Larouci, Fleck, Brooks, Osborn, Slimane, Osula, Traore
