‘It depends’: Gary Neville jokes £27m Arsenal player could cost them a goal against Burnley

Arsenal face Burnley this weekend in what should be a straightforward win for the Gunners.

Vincent Kompany's side have gotten off to a terrible start so far this season, while Arsenal have lost just one league game since the start of the campaign.

It's fair to assume that the Gunners will be heavy favourites here, and speaking on Stick To Football, Gary Neville has indeed tipped Arsenal to win.

However, Neville wasn't quite sure whether or not Arsenal would be keeping a clean sheet against the Clarets, joking that Gabriel Magalhaes could cost the north London club a goal if he goes to ground too easily as he did against Newcastle at the weekend.

"Arsenal vs Burnley, I'm going big. Four nil? To be fair, Gabriel, if he stays up, if he goes to the floor again it could be 4-1, it depends, if Gabriel goes over again it could be 4-1," Neville said.

Won't be happening Neville may only be having a bit of a joke about Gabriel going to ground against Burnley, but we can almost guarantee that won't be happening this weekend.

The Brazilian is the type of player to learn from his mistakes, and while he had every right to go down against Newcastle, he didn't get the decision and he won't be risking that sort of thing again.

Gabriel will be much stronger in these kinds of duels going forwards in order to avoid conceding goals in controversial fashion, and we have to imagine he'll put in a commanding performance against Burnley.

Arsenal should be able to get through this game unscathed, and it's a great chance to get back on track with a big win and a clean sheet.
