  • Offering EUR40m lump sum and EUR25m in bonuses to secure transfer
  • 'Must be about to close another major negotiation' according to journalist Jorge Nicola

Chelsea are currently in talks with Brazilian club Palmeiras over the potential signing of their young talent, Estevao Willian. The negotiations have been ongoing for a few days now, with Chelsea showing keen interest in securing the services of the highlyrated teenager.

According to reports from UOL, Chelsea have been engaging daily discussions with Palmeiras as they look to finalize the deal swiftly. It has been revealed that Chelsea are willing to offer a fixed fee of EUR40 million along with additional bonuses totaling up to EUR25 million, making the total value of the transfer around EUR65 million.

Journalist Jorge Nicola has suggested that after selling one player (Endrick) to Real Madrid recently, Palmeiras might be on the verge of closing another significant deal this time involving Estevao and Chelsea. Despite competition from other Premier League clubs, it seems like Chelsea are leading the race for his signature.

Nicola also mentioned that both parties are trying to find common ground regarding payment structure. While neither side wants an upfront payment exceeding EUR60 million, Chelsea's revised offer includes a higher initial amount than previously reported (EUR30 million). This strategic move aims at convincing Palmeiras while ensuring a smooth transition for Estevao once he turns 18 next April.
