RB Leipzig could be about to thwart Chelsea's plans to sign Benjamin Sesko this summer.
Chelsea are one of several clubs who are said to be interested in Benjamin Sesko as they look to strengthen up front.
Right now, Nicolas Jackson is the only recognised centre-forward in Mauricio Pochettino's squad.
It could see the Blues go all out to sign a new striker in the upcoming transfer window.
However, it does not look like Leipzig are going to let Sesko go without a fight. As well as the 20-year-old, Chelsea have also been heavily linked with Napoli's Victor Osimhen.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Leipzig now want to up that and have already offered him a new deal.
Speaking to The United Stand, he said: "For Sesko, there is going to be great competition too. Chelsea will be there for sure, Arsenal also appreciate Sesko. There is a lot of interest in this boy.
"RB Leipzig in the last 24/48 hours have just offered him a new contract with an important salary to be the star of the team and to change the release clause in his contract."
Who will win the race for Benjamin Sesko if he does not sign a new contract? Chelsea and Arsenal look like two strong contenders for Sesko's signature.
Chelsea finished the season well and, as a result, have qualified for European football. A Manchester United loss in the FA Cup final on Saturday will see Pochettino's men secure a spot in the Europa League.
Their sudden improvement makes Chelsea more of an attractive destination than they were a few months ago.
Nevertheless, the above does not make them more enticing than Arsenal. The Gunners came very close to winning the title this season and several of their young players have thrived under Mikel Arteta since he arrived at the club.
Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli all come to mind, with the trio scoring 39 goals combined in the current campaign. If you are Sesko, then, you are surely picking Arsenal at this moment in time.
