Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino says Chelsea's owners would kill him if he made one certain decision.

The Blues boss almost saw his team beat Arsenal at the weekend after being 2-0 up with just 15 minutes to go. Mistakes saw them throw it away and hand a point to their London rivals in the end.

But Pochettino has said that two of his key midfielder, Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo, were both tired after returning back from long-haul trips to South America to represent their countries at international level.

Of course though, when they are as important as those two, Pochettino hasn't got much choice to play them, and that's when he joked that the Chelsea owners would kill him if he didn't select Enzo and Caicedo!

Ironically though, both players did look a bit leggy in the game and as a result, were not at their absolute best.

In words picked up by The Evening Standard, Pochettino said: "It's crazy for players to come back from South America on Wednesday and play on Saturday.

"But if I say 'OK, I'm going to give them a rest' you will kill me, for sure if they don't play - and the owner also!

"Today Caceido and Enzo arrived after two games in America and they were not fresh. But they are important plasters for us.

"It's really tough to arrive like that. I hope now they can recover and train and in one week be at their best."
