According to AS, Atletico Madrid's offer for Tottenham target Conor Gallagher has now been turned down by Chelsea.
Tottenham still really want Conor Gallagher Tottenham have been handed a blow in their pursuit of Gallagher recently, with some outlets stating over the last few weeks that the player could remain at Chelsea despite having just a year left on his contract.
This includes a recent update by Football Insider, which suggested that the Blues are now coming around to the possibility of offering the 24-year-old a new contract if he turns down a transfer.

MORE SPURS STORIES
It is revealed that the La Liga giants sent an offer of EUR20m (PS16.8m) which was quickly turned down by the West London club.
The report states that Diego Simeone is a big fan of the England international and views the player as someone who can be an indispensable part of Atleti's midfield for the next decade.
However, the publication adds that Chelsea value Gallagher at around EUR50m (PS42.2m), which is well beyond what the Colchoneros are willing to pay at the moment.
Spurs Web Opinion
As things stand, it appears as if Gallagher is not overly keen on a move even if someone can strike a deal with Chelsea.
However, I have a feeling that this transfer saga will have plenty more twists and turns over the next couple of months.
