Source:Live Radio,

Chelsea have enquired about Barcelona teenager Marc Guiu, talkSPORT understands.

The Blues look set to sign a new attacking option this summer as they prepare for Enzo Maresca's first season as head coach.

With the summer transfer window now open, they could be set to turn to Barcelona and sign one of their academy graduates.

Guiu has a release clause of EUR6million [PS5.07million], according to Fabrizio Romano, with Bayern Munich another interested side.

The 18-year-old has featured just seven times for Barcelona's senior side but made a huge impact on his debut for the club.

Guiu's goal, a low finish through the goalkeeper's legs, spurred on happy tears and applause from his delighted family in the stands.

He extended his goal tally for Barcelona to two by scoring in their 3-2 Champions League defeat to Royal Antwerp two months later.

Guiu has become the latest name to be linked with Chelsea as they continue their search for a new striker or centre forward.

They could soon be set to announce their first departure too as Villa have agreed a deal in excess of PS35million for Ian Maatsen.
