Chelsea still have money to spend on an attacker after missing out on Crystal Palace's Michael Olise.
Michael Olise was thought to have been the Blues' top target for the summer.
He would have cost Chelsea PS60m, with BBC Sport claiming that the Bayern Munich-bound winger has a release clause in his contract set at that figure.
With Chelsea no longer in for Olise, they can now use that money on someone else.
They have since been linked with Athletic Bilbao's Nico Willians, but there is another attacker who they could end up signing during this transfer window.
They could face competition for one man who they are currently looking at.

According to Calciomercato, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are all interested in Atalanta star Ademola Lookman.
The Italian outlet claims that the three English giants are prepared to make offers close to EUR60m (PS50.7m) for Lookman this summer.
Atalanta will be hoping that Lookman remains at the club, though. He was terrific for them last season, helping his side to win the Europa League after scoring a hat-trick in the final.
Ademola Lookman could be the perfect signing for Chelsea Some Chelsea fans will be gutted that the club have missed out on Olise.
However, signing someone like Lookman could really soften the blow.
Again, he had a really good 2023/24 campaign after guiding Atalanta to the Europa League trophy. In total, the Nigeria international scored 17 goals in 45 appearances for Gian Piero Gasperini's side.
Lookman is now 26 and has played in the Premier League before so would bring experience to Stamford Bridge, while he is also quite versatile, being able to play on the left, right and as a second striker.
His former manager Brendan Rodgers has described his professionalism as "unbelievable" as well. If Chelsea can sign him this summer, then they should.
