Ipswich Town are reportedly preparing to make an official offer to Chelsea for Omari Hutchinson following an impressive loan spell at Ipswich Town last season.

The 20-year-old, who can also play as an attacking midfielder, helped contribute to the Blues' promotion to the Premier League for the first time in 22 years.

Hutchinson is currently training individually overseas ahead of pre-season training and according to football.london, he is yet to make a decision on his future but a permanent move away from Stamford Bridge is an option.

There is an expectancy that Town will bid around PS20 million while Chelsea reportedly want a fee of around PS30 million.

Hutchinson's former club Arsenal are due a chunk of the figure they will ultimately receive via a sell-on clause.

VfB Stuttgart and Ajax have previously been linked to him and are reportedly still keen, although their interest is believed to have cooled recently.
