Fabrizio Romano has now delivered an update on the situation between Chelsea and Nottingham Forest defender Murillo.
The 21-year-old is a wanted man this summer and Forest face a real fight to keep hold of their prized Brazilian defender.
It's been claimed today that another enforcer could leave too, with Moussa Niakhate booked in for a medical at Lyon ahead of a PS20 million transfer.
Forest do have to still be careful with regard to Financial Fair Play and as a result, the Senegal international might not be the last player to leave.
Murillo is still in the sights of a number of clubs and Romano has now delivered an update on Chelsea and their interest.

Now, Romano claims that Chelsea have made contact with Forest regarding the availability of Murillo ahead of next season.

He's claimed that the club have asked for information and conditions from Forest as they prepare to entertain offers for the defender.
As of yet, however, there has been no proposal, no negotiations and no talks ongoing at this stage of proceedings.

Jamie Redknapp was a huge fan of Murillo during the 2023/24 campaign and called the player 'quality' for his efforts in a 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace.
Niakhate sale will help Forest demand top price for Murillo Forest will have to be realistic this summer.
Ultimately, in their current situation keeping hold of top players - with big clubs keen - is going to prove extremely difficult.
However, if Moussa Niakhate and Orel Mangala were to leave the football club, Forest would be pretty much over the line to meet the PSR requirements.
That means that if Chelsea - or any other Premier League club - wishes to sign Murillo they will need to dig deep.
Forest have other players who will be in the sights of top clubs, with Callum Hudson-Odoi and Morgan Gibbs-White among them.
For the club to get Niakhate and Mangala out of the squad to meet the FFP threshold would have to be deemed as good business and can only bode well for the rest of the transfer window.
