Everton have started to move for Chelsea striker Armando Broja in the last 24 to 48 hours, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian transfer specialist reported via his YouTube channel on Friday (28 June) that several interested clubs have begun to make a move for the Albanian, with the 30 June PSR deadline looming this weekend.

It is understood, as per AS, that Chelsea value the 22-year-old at a little over PS25million, and with PSR likely to affect the Toffees' transfer plans in the coming days, the club may look to intensify their pursuit of Broja [Ben Jacobs].

"Keep a close eye on Armando Broja because I'm hearing there's interest from several clubs. In the last 24-48 hours, clubs like Everton and others have started moving around Broja, so there could be movement around him this weekend," he said.

"We know that, with financial fair play, this weekend is crucial for many clubs."

Everton to move for Chelsea striker Armando Broja soon While Dominic Calvert-Lewin's move to Newcastle United has fallen flat on its face, the forward is still being linked with a move away from Goodison Park this summer.

This would leave Sean Dyche without a proper number nine, though the signing of Iliman Ndiaye from Marseille will certainly lower the concern about the number of goals in the side [Fabrizio Romano].

Despite being absent in front of goal for much of the 2023/24 campaign, Calvert-Lewin still finished with seven league goals to his name, helping the Toffees to Premier League safety with four goals in his last seven games.
