The new Premier League season is now just over a month away with Euro 2024 still ongoing and England remaining in the tournament by the skin of their teeth. The London clubs will be bidding to improve next season, with Arsenal looking end their wait for a Premier League title, while Chelsea and Tottenham will have Champions League qualification hopes.
All three clubs are likely to strengthen this summer, but Arsenal and Chelsea will have to navigate Profit and Sustainability rules after big spending over recent years. As recruitment efforts rumble on, we have rounded up the latest transfer news from 'insider' Fabrizio Romano.
Dewsbury-Hall dealEnzo Maresca has secured his first reunion by agreeing a deal to sign Leicester City star Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, according to Romano, who tweeted: "Chelsea complete deal for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to join from Leicester.
"PS30m move in place, contract until June 2030, medical done. Chelsea talent Michael Golding will leave as Leicester City signs him for PS5m in separate deal. Here we go, confirmed."
Dewsbury-Hall has said of Maresca previously: "Enzo was an unbelievable manager. I genuinely see him becoming a top manager, so it wasn't a surprise to see he was in demand. It is weird having to change a manager after being so successful, but that's football."
Tottenham chase GrayTottenham are said to be ramping up their chase of Leeds United talent Archie Gray. The 18-year-old was pivotal in the Whites' promotion chase last season, able to play in midfield and at the back.
Romano has tweeted of Tottenham's pursuit: "Understand Tottenham are advancing on Archie Gray deal, negotiations progressing. Spurs are optimistic on personal terms after positive talks with player's camp, player open to the move. Tottenham hope to reach total agreement and book medical soon."
Gray has previously said of his future: "I want to try and win trophies with Leeds, that's always what I've dreamed of as a kid. Playing for England's first team is another one that every kid from England dreams of."
Golding and Hutchinson dealsChelsea are set to welcome a double transfer windfall across deals for Michael Golding and Omari Hutchinson. Hutchinson enjoyed a strong campaign with Ipswich Town on loan last season and will join them in the Premier League.
"Understand Leicester City will sign Michael Golding from Chelsea for value of PS5m," Romano tweeted. "2006 born talent will leave Chelsea to join #LCFC in separate deal after Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall move being completed for PS30m fee." He added: "Omari Hutchinson has just signed five year deal until June 2029 as new Ipswich Town player. Chelsea receive PS22m total fee."
