Wesley Fofana drops big Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall hint following Chelsea agreement

Wesley Fofana has dropped a big hint that Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall will be next through the door at Stamford Bridge this summer.

Chelsea reached a PS30million agreement with Leicester City for the 25-year-old on Sunday as Enzo Maresca prepares for a swift reunion with the midfielder. Dewsbury-Hall completed the first part of his medical on Sunday and there are a few minor details left to finalise before he officially becomes a Blues player, football.london understands.

Now, Fofana, who played with Dewsbury-Hall 14 times during his time at Leicester, has dropped a big hint on social media that Chelsea have completed the deal. Posting on his Instagram story, Fofana put three 'eyes' emojis, alongside a blue love heart. Then, underneath, he put the number 22 - the shirt number Dewsbury-Hall wears at Leicester - alongside a fox emoji.

Dewsbury-Hall is set to become the latest player to swap the King Power Stadium for Stamford Bridge, with a number of big names, including the aforementioned Maresca, having done so in recent times. N'Golo Kante, Danny Drinkwater, Ben Chilwell and Fofana are just some of the names.

Chelsea academy graduate Michael Golding is set to move the other way as part of a separate deal, football.london understands. Golding has made just one senior appearance for Chelsea, against Preston North End in the FA Cup third round in early January.

If all goes well, the two deals could be announced at some point over the next week. But it is fair to say that Chelsea have now done the difficult bit of the deal and just need to sort the final details before Dewsbury-Hall is officially a Blues player.
