Chelsea believe that a player on their books have seen his valuation increase since he joined a couple of years ago.

There's been a real focus in Chelsea's transfer strategy during recent years to recruit youngsters, so you'd hope that over time they get back some great rewards on their investments.

Omari Hutchinson, who the Blues signed back in 2022, is an example of a player's valuation flying up.

Instead, the Blues will only sell or keep their first-team players this summer.

Elsewhere, journalist Fabrizio Romano recently claimed via his YouTube channel that Chelsea have no intention of loaning out Chukwuemeka. They're really happy with him and only a really good offer could lead to a permanent exit.

A big 2024/25 season ahead The reality is that Chukwuemeka's first two years as a Chelsea player has been largely wrecked by injuries. He's played just 27 times so far with the Blues.

There's a lot to like about the attacking midfielder, but the competition for places at the club is stiff.
