New signing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has revealed he grew up watching Chelsea legend Frank Lampard and has tried to implement his goalscoring from midfield into his own game.

The Blues confirmed the signing of Dewsbury-Hall on Tuesday, with the 25-year-old arriving from Leicester for PS30m and penning a five year deal with the option of a further year.

Dewsbury-Hall certainly has an attacking instinct from the middle of the park, and he showed that last season as he scored 12 goals and provided 14 assists to help the Foxes win the Championship title.

The fact he's left footed and has an eye goal means he's a different profile to the existing midfielders in the squad.
